In our town

Part of the vision of Reading Family Church is to leave footprints of justice, hope and mercy across our town, playing our part in loving and serving our local communities.

We want to help anyone in need wherever we can – regardless of race, religion, age, gender, sexuality, marital status or disability.

  • Two women having a discussion in a professional setting, with a speech bubble overlay saying "Just talk".

    Just Talk

Just Talk provides a free, weekly space for English learners across Reading to make friends and practise English with RFCers, over tea and cake. Pictures and games are used to increase confidence and there is an optional time at the end for sharing stories and discussing short bible passages.

  • A woman with curly hair wearing a headband and a dark sweater is talking to another person outdoors near a modern glass building, smiling while holding a brown purse.

    Torch

We partner with local charity Torch, who work with a network of churches and charities across Reading to provide a helping hand to those who otherwise cannot get help and tend to fall through the gaps of existing provision.
