Elders (1 Timothy 3: 1-7, Titus 1: 6-9)
The elders (“pastors”) are appointed by God to shepherd and lead the church. The elders/pastors represent the primary leadership and meet regularly to discuss the doctrine and direction of the Church, as well as pastoral situations. The elders/pastors endeavour to preach, teach, and counsel for the glory of God.
Sean Green – elder/pastor
Sean & Liz have three children and they moved to Reading in 2000 to plant the church. Sean worked for an IT company until he left to work full time for the church. Sitho Mdlalose – elder/pastor
Born & bred in Zimbabwe, Sitho & Miranda joined the church in 2005. Sitho works in finance and doesn’t understand what the fuss about football is, he believes everyone should play & watch rugby!
Scott Taylor – elder/pastor
Scott and Barbie have one daughter and they both came to Reading to go to university. Scott worked as a Primary School teacher in Reading until he came on the fulltime staff of the church. Richard Walker – elder/pastor
