Alpha
If God did exist, what would you ask?
The Alpha Course is open to anyone, and gives the opportunity to explore Christianity and find out more about who Jesus is in a relaxed, informal setting.
Our next Alpha Course will be starting on Tuesday 17th April, 8pm. Please check this page for further details nearer the time.

Pizza & Driscoll
On Saturday 19th May, the men of RFC are gathering to enjoy some pizza, & watch a DVD preach from Mark Driscoll (Mars Hill Church Seattle). With plenty of time to chat about the talk, catch up with old & new friends and continue to encourage one another, it's going to be a fantastic evening. Starts at 7.30pm and will be held at the church office.
Membership Course
An opportunity on Sunday 20th May to hear the vision & values of the church and what it means to be a member. Contact the church office for more details.
Biblical Thinking Forum
Monday 16 April 2012: 7:30pm @RFC offices
"How close can we get to the real Jesus? To find out we will be exploring the Jesus of history who walked the earth, and the Christ of faith who lives in the hearts of believers."
Student Conference
The Student team are hosting a day conference on Saturday 26th May. There will be talks, worship, games and food as well as optional camping. Those who were camping will then walk back to Reading on the Sunday morning. It will be held on Bidston's Farm in Finchampstead. Diamond Jubilee Street Party
On Saturday 2nd June the South Reading Churches will be hosting a Street Party on Northumberland Avenue for the local residents.
Please contact Scott Taylor if you would like to volunteer to help out on the day - they still need people for various jobs including setting up, packing away, stewarding, activities, site management, hospitality and food serving.
Community Lunch
We will be holding a Community lunch on the 24th June at the Church office, 12.45-3pm.
July
Church Picnic
We will be holding a Church Picnic on Sunday 15th July after the morning meeting. It's going to be a fun filled afternoon with games, bouncy adventure course and plenty more. Please bring your own picnic with enough to share for those who haven't got a picnic. It's going to be a great time to chat amongst friends, make some new ones and enjoy being together as a church family.
October
Women's Weekend Away
There will be a women's weekend away held on the 12-14th October. 2 nights at Wokefield Park Hotel which is a short drive outside of Reading.
It will be a weekend where there will be lots of laughter, investing in each other's lives, making new friends & memories and seeking God together.
There will be lots of time to relax and enjoy the grounds & pool, go on a craft workshops or just sit and chat over a coffee.
Saturday morning will be worship and teaching. After breakfast on Sunday everyone will travel back together for the morning meeting at Reading Family Church.
