We need teams of volunteers to make our Sunday meetings run smoothly.
The welcome team meet and greet every person that comes to our Sunday meetings! They help people to connect with others, and answer questions about RFC life.
Each week our Kids church team teach, encourage and have fun with our children as they point them towards Jesus. Youth – Engaging and training our young people and encouraging them to pursue Christ for themselves.
Caring for our pre-school children in a nurturing and engaging environment, our creche teams enable parents to engage with our Sunday meetings.
Each week our refreshments team create a warm and welcoming environment as they set up and serve tea and coffee.
The SUPA team are the first to arrive and last to leave, creating spaces for the church to gather and connect with one another and God.
Those with musical gifting serve RFC by playing and leading us in sung worship each week.
Our audio/visual team set up and run the sound and visual components of our meetings.
We have a team that arranges and operates the lighting at our evening venue.
We have numbers of other non Sunday teams that require volunteers
Meeting monthly on a Saturday, HOPE provides a place for those who have learning disabilities to have their own expression of church.
Twice a month, on a Monday, Reading Job Club meets to support and build community around those who are out of work.
Creates a safe environment for parents with babies and toddlers in our town
Starting Point aims to help local 16-24 year olds who are not in education, employment or training through mentoring.
HIA own a house in West Reading for vulnerable people. Residents are supported by a team to help them find stability in life.
